How do we share stories about the past, present, and future of space? With the help of paintings, of course! The exhibition “Space in Large Strokes” is not just about capturing space through art. It also allows the viewer to reflect on what inspired the artists to create such works and to see the inexplicable but obvious connection between the mysteries of space and human consciousness.
The exhibition will present original and unique works from artists including: twice-awarded Hero of the Soviet Union pilot-cosmonaut V. A. Dzhanibekov, science fiction artist A. K. Sokolov, V. H. Vradiy, T. G. Manakyan, M. N. Romadin, and others. These works of art are rarely exhibited in the halls of our museum.
The exhibition is part of the “Opening Funds” museum project, and continues the “Space in Art” exhibition cycle. The paintings presented in the exhibition hall will be from the art collection of the Museum of Cosmonautics.
